You can update your payment method at any time from your Billing page. This guide walks you through adding a new card, handling failed payments, and managing your billing information.
Adding or Changing Your Card
- Log in to your Viewers dashboard
- Go to Billing
- Find the Payment Method section under your Active Plan
- Click Update Payment Method
- Enter your new card details
- Click Save
Your new card will be used for all future charges. The previous card is automatically removed.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
When to Update Your Payment Method
Consider updating your card when:
- Your current card is expiring soon
- You’ve been issued a new card number
- You want to switch to a different card
- Your payment has failed
Keeping your payment method current ensures uninterrupted access to your PRO features.
What Happens If a Payment Fails
If your card is declined on your billing date:
- You’ll receive a notification alerting you to the failed payment
- Your account remains active for a short grace period
- We’ll retry the charge automatically within a few days
- Update your card during this window to avoid service interruption
If payment continues to fail after multiple retry attempts, your account may be downgraded to the Free plan until payment is resolved.
Fixing a Failed Payment
- Go to Billing
- You’ll see a notice indicating the payment issue
- Click Update Payment Method
- Enter a valid card
- Click Save
Once a valid payment method is on file, any outstanding balance will be charged and your PRO features will be restored.
Billing Information for Invoices
If you need invoices to display specific billing details (company name, address, VAT number), you can update this information in your Billing settings. These details will appear on all future invoices.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use a debit card? Yes. Debit cards with a Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover logo work the same as credit cards.
Is my card information secure? Yes. We never store your full card number on our servers. All payment processing is handled through secure, PCI-compliant payment providers.
Can I pay with PayPal or bank transfer? Currently, we only accept credit and debit cards. For Enterprise accounts with custom billing needs, contact us.
Will I be charged immediately when I update my card? Not unless you have an outstanding balance from a failed payment. Otherwise, your new card will simply be used on your next billing date.
Can I have multiple cards on file? No. Only one payment method can be active at a time. Adding a new card replaces the previous one.
