How to Hide the Viewers Branding

Pro users can remove Viewers branding from their widget for a cleaner, white-label appearance. This guide explains how to hide branding and answers common questions about this feature.

Hiding Branding (Pro Plans)

If you’re on any PRO plan (Lite, Business, or Enterprise), you can remove the Viewers logo from your widget:

  1. Log in to your Viewers dashboard
  2. Go to Configure → Embed Code
  3. Find the Remove Viewers Branding option
  4. Enable it
  5. Copy your updated embed code
  6. Replace the old embed code on your website with the new one (manual installs only - WordPress plugin users don’t need to do this)

Your widget will now display without the Viewers logo.

Manual Configuration

If you prefer to edit your embed code directly, add the data-logo attribute:

data-logo="hidden"

Your full embed code will look something like this:

<script
  src="https://app.viewers.com/widget/widget.js"
  data-token="your-token"
  data-logo="hidden"
  async>
</script>

Why Can’t Free Users Hide Branding?

Our small logo is the only way we keep Free truly free.

Unlike other “free” services that monetize by selling your data or your customers’ data to third parties, we don’t do that. Your leads are yours. We don’t share them, sell them, or use them for anything other than delivering them to you.

Instead, we sustain our Free plan through the small amount of referral traffic we get when visitors see our logo on your widget. That’s it. No hidden catches, no data harvesting, no surprise upsells.

We use both automatic and manual detection to ensure branding isn’t tampered with on Free accounts. If our system detects that branding has been removed or hidden on a Free plan, your widget may stop functioning until it’s restored.

Upgrading to Remove Branding

If the logo bothers you, upgrading is simple. PRO Lite starts at $99/month – just a few dollars a day – and includes branding removal along with dozens of other professional features:

You can upgrade anytime from Billing → Change Your Plan.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I hide branding with CSS or by modifying the embed code on Free? No. We have automatic and manual detection systems in place. Tampering with branding on Free accounts may result in your widget being disabled.

Will removing branding affect my widget’s functionality? No. Hiding branding is purely cosmetic. All features work exactly the same with or without the logo.

I upgraded to PRO but still see branding. What’s wrong? You need to regenerate your embed code after upgrading. Go to Configure → Embed Code, enable the branding removal option, copy the new code, and replace the old code on your website.

Can I hide branding on some websites but not others? Yes. Each website can have its own embed code configuration. Generate separate embed codes for each site with your preferred settings.
